All of us have loose change around the house…in our purses, pockets, car consoles, in old mayo jars. Now, during this season of Lent, you can put your coins to good use to help the homeless families of Haven Center. Please support the Mission Board’s new project, “Change the Future,” by simply dropping your loose change in the special collection jars at the Welcome Center and in Fellowship Hall, now through Easter Sunday.

 

Your donations will purchase the household supplies most of us take for granted -- items like toilet paper, diapers, trash bags and laundry detergent -- that are not covered by other sources of funding. Most Haven Center families do not have cars, but many are either working in minimum-wage jobs or searching for employment. So, your contributions will also be used to help purchase desperately needed bus tickets. Won’t you help? Our goal is to collect at least $500. The campaign ends Easter Sunday, so please prayerfully consider contributing what you can. Thank you!
