Worship is the central event of our life together. During the program year (September through mid-June), we offer two morning worship services, at 9 AM and 11 AM in our sanctuary. Two adult vocal choirs provide special music on a weekly basis, supplemented by youth and adult bell choirs and a children’s choir. Children are a valuable part of this church family and wors
hip for the first part of each service. Following a message especially for children, Sunday School classes are offered for students age 3 through grade 7.
Our Noah’s Nursery, where volunteers care for babies and toddler, is adult-supervised. For parents who prefer, the Family Lounge is a room with comfortable seating where the worship service can be viewed on television and through the window.
Along with the pastors, the Board of Deacons oversees the worship life of the church: recruiting and training ushers, greeters, acolytes and deacons. A team of volunteers operates the sound board for each service and videotapes them for live broadcast on Avon Lake Community Television, Channel 99.
During the summer, we offer one morning worship service at 10 AM.
The church is handicapped-accessible.
